"CruiZe" on over to the Branson Z Fest web site for another update. This week we cover some of the details of the cruise day (Thursday).

In other news, we are about to reach maximum occupancy on the main building for buffet style meal on Saturday. REGISTER NOW or you may be bumped into the overflow area. (A second building that is on-site with the restaurant.)

One final reminder: Make sure you register ONLINE as well as well the hotel! (See the website for additional details.)

But only if you put that thing on the track on Friday night.

Thinking about going to Silver Dollar City during the BZF? How does taking 25% off your ticket price PLUS getting an extra day for FREE sound?

A quick status report on BZF '05.

We are about to pass our 80th registration for the event. (With a month and a half until BZF time.) On top of the registrants, I expect 20+ local cars to show as well.

So far we have people coming from the following states: AR, AZ, CO, IA, IN, KS, MI, MO, NJ, OK, ON, NJ, TX)

(Yes.. That is Arizona, New Jersey and Ontario Canada. I also expect some people from LA to be registering pretty soon.)

Just about half of the people registered will be at the hotel from Wednesday -Sunday night.

We are just about a even split between all of the major generations of Z cars. (Early generation, Z31, Z32 and 350Z)

We expect over 100 cars to hit the track on Friday night. We are considering two brackets. One for the "sportsman group" and a second "elimination round" to crown the fastest Z at the BZF.

We are soon bumping up against the deadlines for the hotel and the restuarant. Tell anyone that you know that has not restaurant to do so NOW. If they decide to wait, tell them that you do not want to hear them complain later.

How do you top off a week of activities that include items like a visit to a world class theme park, a cruise down a nationally ranked scenic highway, and an entire evening of seeing a hundred or so Z drivers attack a quarter mile track?

How about a CAR SHOW?
How about INCLUDING LUNCH for FREE? (Registered guests.)
How about a MASSIVE Z CRUIZE?
How about a BUFFET DINNER?
How about a HAPPY HOUR PARTY with two FREE DRINKS in EACH PACKAGE to get us started?

And if that isn't enough..

How about a HELICOPTER FLYING OVER and taking pictures of all of the cars (and owners) sitting on top of a mountain ridge (during the cruise)?

Needless to say: The tentative schedule for Saturday has been posted.

IMPORTANT NEWS FOR ANYONE THAT HAS NOT YET REGISTERED!

Our reserved block of rooms will be released back to the general public on Wednesday, April 27th at Midnight. If you know anyone that is thinking about registering with the hotel for this event and has not yet done so, please let them know about this deadline. It may still be possible to get a room at the hotel after that date, but there are no guarantees.
