New to the "Z" owners club.. resident of New orleans. If you all have info on upcoming local (not too far out) meetings, let me know... I would be down to check out some Z'z and see what kind of setups are out there..

The move "home" to Lake Charles is still ongoing but I'm here and the car is here.........

 

there is local Z forum that has plenty of meeting information as well as the local forums like NOSR.org and sportsnimports.com. There are also other RACE (domestic mostly) forums as well like Getonitracing.net. Hope to see y'all around .

Well.... I got rearended by a drunk driver (hit and run), someone hit my car in the parking lot (hit and run), some random object put a nice ding and scratch on my hood, and then something hits the windshield so I have a nice crack in it.

I'm going to try to the track out again once get some O2 sensors if that what is causing my car to run so rich. I'll shoot for Feb.

I want to try to get a Z meet going on at NPR again. We did it before a long time ago... Although we only had 5 Z's out there, it was kind of funny that there were 4 Daytona Blues haha. It was also enough Z's for someone to ask if Nissan paid us to go

Sorry to hear about the streak of bad luck with your Z.

If the timing and weather are right, I might be up for another trip to NPR. Actually, I've been there a couple times recently but on the road course.

Road course > autocross > drag strip.

 

Its okay Dave, it's life. Probably one of the biggest reasons I don't like bringing the Z out... It looks horrible. I would get everything repainted but being at LSU and working at a plant, I think I'll be patient and wait until I graduate and get a daily driver.

I'll be trying to do some autocrossing once I get some new wheels. I'll probably get some suspension mods right afterwards because I think my shocks are near their death

So it looks like on Jan 6th for midnight madness a few of us may be rollin out to NPR.. I would imagine we would meet up somewhere in the NOLA area and head out from there. If anyone else wants to meet up that would be cool.

Hey, I might be able to meet you guys out there. I've never driven my Z out to NPR before, but it could be a first. I'm definitely considering it, so just keep this thread going so I'll know that others will be there. I'd hate to be the "only one."

 

I wouldn't be able to make it to the January 6th Midnight Madness. I'll be out of town that day
