Lol I just found this thread and saw people are still posting in it. I live in Destrehan and I've had my Z since December last year. I have another friend who has a white one who lives in kenner and we've been trying to get like a little Z crew together to do track events and such.
I frequent the track and I'm starting to auto-x. I know I should have read a bit more before posting but does anyone else frequent the track still? Anyone going to any of the upcoming events? I met a guy in a silver Z like mine a while back and I keep seeing a red one but haven't had a chance to talk to him.

Say any of you guys going to test and tune tonight at NPR. I wanted to go with Shane in the turbo Dseries, but I have to help my cousin move. He is going to see what the car will do with the new tune and set up.

I was going to say the same thing, the weather is murder to do anything in regards to tuning an testing a car at the moment. We are looking for way at the moment to lower temps while we tune at the shop.
Last saturday a dude from FL came in to rent the dyno for 3hrs and tune his m3 turbo on Microtech.
Well at one point it was 110F in the shop and he still managed to squeeze 417whp at 16psi on that day. It was unbearable in the shop.

So the main downside is the long tuning time just to keep things in safe manner for the engine. Nevertheless we are making plans to brings temps down and make it more pleasant to tune at the shop in the summer months.

I'm sure if you took LSD, your dyno numbers would increase
