It sucked last time because someone hit the wall and got antifreeze on the left lane so they ran one lane for the rest of the night.

Man... your Z looks good!
Wow, thanks for the compliments. I felt bad that night, the car was filthy. I almost didn't go, lol. I haven't seen Josh in a while. Friend of ours told me he just put some 20's on his car. I need to call him. I have to go back to work Thursday so I will be out of pocket for 2 weeks but as soon as I get back we need to meet up again. I just put some Tein S springs on my car. I want to see if it helped me or hurt me.

Yeah he did put some 20s on there. Black with polished lip, looks pretty damn good but 20s are huge. We had set up a date in December if you saw read through this thread. We had 5 Z's, Dave, RobertH, defex, agent_smith, and myself. 4 blue Z's, confusing as hell haha.

I'm definitely down for a meet. Are you going to come down Sunday for the Z meet out here?

Ooooo... I see. Yeah, I guess she earned some special treatment for that one. I expect to see you and the turbo at another of the future club events though. That might be the first T-netics in the area here.

Note to self: Never take rides from strangers unless its a boosted Z.

Yeah sure..i just have to find a local shop to install it. I have talked to the guy at Airline Auto Center, and have heard they have done good work on Hondas. Just waiting on my guages now.

AAC is pretty good. They've got a lot of people that swear by them and just a few people that refuse to get their car work there because of a bad experience which I'm sure happens to every shop.

But they have done the work for some of the fastest street driven Hondas. I'm cool with a few of the guys that get their work done there and I've talked to Loc before when I had my Prelude.

I'm sure anything that I need installed by a shop I'll probably just go there.

I hope you've been trolling the F-I group and reading the posts there. From what I gather, tuning is critical. And with as hot as it gets here in the summer, I'm sure it's even more important. I haven't heard of anybody in BTR that done a Turbo install on a Z, much less tuned one with any of the aftermarket FMUs.

This kit won't need any tuning until later down the road (im hoping the flash is fine for now). I'm sure later i will want to get fuel return/injectors/UTEC/exhaust etc. If i had to get a UTEC, i would consider going as far as Charlotte and letting Sharif work with it. I go up to NC a good bit during the year, so it would be a short drive from the areas i visit.

blasian: Yeah i spoke with Loc about the install a few weeks ago. He seemed to be very familiar with F/I setups, and a pretty nice guy. I can't decide if i want to tap the block for the oil return, or the oil pan spacer. I have been swayed both ways. anyway i hope i can meet some of you guys soon. I had no idea BTR had soo many members on this forum...i rarely see Z's and when i do they have already gone past me on the road

I think im gonna get Loc to do it. I talked to Midnyte (sp?) from NOLA who said he did it in a parking lot with hand tools, so i think it should be ok. The TN kit i have is a ECU flash, so i just mail out my ECU and they flash it. For tuning i'm pretty sure i would just trek up to NC and go to Forged Internals. As for now, i'm just waiting on my guages to come in, and im all set.

Hi and welcome Ryan,

The club actually has a website:

http://www.louisianazclub.org/

It's not always up to date, but we also have a Yahoo group through which messages are send out announcing meetings and planning for events. You can sign up at:

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/lazclub/

I'm going to and keep posting announcements here too so keep an eye out in this Forum.

Lately, most of the meetings have been in BTR because the NO members are pretty dispersed. Hopefully that will change in the near future.

Meetings for BTR are on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 3PM at Georges Southside (directions can be found on the club website). We skip meetings sometimes when we have other events during the month like car shows, road trips, etc.

All Z owners are welcome so feel free to come on out to the next get together.

Dave
