Memphis Z owners
Yea... it happens to the best of us!
But yep... I dhaven't ever thought about putting a camera oin the car... but if you plan on tracking it out completely... that would be a cool little feature.

a watchful eye misses nothing!
yes that was me... I was at Jonny Brusco's ... I was actually next door getting my hair done at Nice hair on sat morning/afternoon.
I live off macon/sanga. Not too far.. seems like the three of us live right next to each other.

Ha!!...I knew it.....you don't see many DB Z's around...especially Track models. I live in the subdivision right behind the Walgreens at Canada and 64.
I'm up for getting a group together whenever we can.
The one meet I went to at Shelby Farms was kinda lame in that we just stood around, froze and looked at each other cars. What did you guys used to do when you met up?
yea --- that was kind of a bomb.
I had said that it was cancelled, but word didn't get to everyone, and ended up still going in the cold/ rain.
However, i think maybe an indoor type thing might work better.. perhaps a hooters or somewhere relevant meet.
well, when there was quite a few people we'd eat dinner.. .we had a chili's meet once... one time a bunch of Z's met up and drove down raleigh lagrange...

When I was in Houston, we met up at Coney Island Hot Dog, which was near a central point of some awesome canyon carving runs... in the San Francisco Bay Area, there's Alice's Cafe...
So there's a Sonic burger right next to me (well on the other side of the block) and it's fairly spacious... how cool would it be to have a full side of nothing but 350z's...
Oh, and not that I'm noticing nor complaining... but do ALL Sonic burger joints have freaking nice looking girls working there?!!
I freaking love the country accent... puts a huge smile on my face every morning, even if I'm just buying coffee... yeah, i go to Sonic EVERY morning, lol!
So... Sonic? =D

Or, we could all meet somewhere and then take the back roads (Pisgah to Ral-Lagrange to Col-Arlington) out to Collierville and maybe eat somewhere. The Red Robbin by the New Mall has good Hamburgers.
I know a lots of back roads (from riding sportbikes) so if a drive is going to be part of the meet I can come up with an interesting route.

hahaha yea majority are white southern accented girls. :]
Yea... i know almost every road in the two surrounding counties. i've heard that shelby forrest has some nice roads as well, but i'm not familiar with the millington/munford area out there... I'd have to get someone familiar to go. I know quite a few people who'd be down for a meet. (not all Z cars however.lol)
Red Robin is great. However, a couple times their service has been under par. I even had a meal comped when i received a 2 hr late soggy chicken burger.
Well, Let me try to dig up some numbers of some other Z fellas (since i'm the lone female lol) and see what we can get together... i know some of my non z friends will be down for a lil car talk and meal.

Shelby Forrest does have some good roads, but personally, I would rather drive some less challenging roads the first time out with drivers/personalities I don't know. There are lots of turns in the Forrest that can catch you out in a hurry.
Isn't that on the menu....the two hour late soggy chicken burger.....heard it's great!

Overall, I think it's a great kit. It drops the car 15mm in the front and 19mm in the back. She's my daily, so I didn't want anything too aggressive especially with the streets downtown. The drop is noticable. By lowing the back more, it gives the car a nice low even line. The four-way adjustable (three-way in the rear) sways are the best part of the kit. They get rid of the slight factory understeer and make on-ramps a lot more fun. I don't know much about the cobb kit, but I would definitely recommend the hotchkis tvs1 kit. For the money, you can't beat it.
As for the offset, I don't think you will have any issues. It's not that aggressive of a drop. I have the 18" Track wheels and the fenders don't come close so you should be ok...don't quote me on that though. I can post some pics if you think that will help.
A meet would be awesome if you all don't mind a midtowner joining the party. I can load up my camera equipment and take some shots wherever we meet....let me know.
Um, anytime is good for me after 12pm... again i have a VERY lax schedule.
OK... those do NOT look like the girls I deal with... but then again, I go in the morning. maybe they turn into that in later in the day? All I'm saying is that I've seen so many more hotties here than back home.
Again with the more "extreme" mods, i don't want to to too much to "void" my warranty. This car IS my daily driver... I put on about 100-150 miles per day (and loving every bit of it).

Weather looks pretty good this weekend... however... I didn't realize that it's going to them 4-5 hours to install the indash dvd. So... I have it scheduled for Saturday at 7am. He said he'll have it done by 12noon.
He said I can:
1. Crash on his couch;
2. Walk home;
3. Get a ride home;
4. Take his truck home.
I'm thinking y'all (note the country tone in my voice) can keep me company! I'll buy the continental breakfast (coffee n x-aunts!)
=D
Tempting, huh?

Pioneer Avic-Z2 with Bluetooth adapter and (pending) front/rear cameras. I'm debating on getting either Sirus or XM Traffic Nav.
Thanks Jim and the gang at Collierville Car and Stereo!
Next I'm thinking about Memphis Speakers!
Before

Magellan Maestro 4040 ($325 from Costco)

AFTER!!!
Pioneer Avic Z2 + Bluetooth Adapter + Rear View Camera ($1600 Newegg.com)
