Actually, "kids" aren't a problem in the other chapters. They occasionally attend some of the events like car shows, but for the most part, the core group are mature Z fanatics. We don't like drama either.

 

point taken, Im only 23 anyway-still a kid I guess, but I can honestly say there is a generation gap with the new tuners (new kids on the block as I call them). things just arent the same anymore

We already know that their are going to be other people out at this meet other than just Z owners because of all the web publicity. If we are serious in making or adding to the “Northern” section of La. then we have to have a criteria of what we actually want in this chapter if it is going to contain other vehicles than just Z’s or G’s we have to be really strict in what vehicle it maybe. I know that some of the clubs that are in this area have some nice vehicles and some that shouldn’t be there (Josh you know what I am talking about from back in the day) but I don’t want to be like everyone else, we all need to meet up and have a discussion about this and what this could contain for the future. So I guess I can stop being impatient and just wait for this to happen on Sunday.

 

If it wasn't for the fact that I have an Autocross down in N.O. on Saturday, I seriously thought about making the ride up to SPT to join ya'll on Sunday. That's an 8 hr round trip if you haven't made it yet.

 

Werd. I'm probably one of the youngest out there but always have a good time talking to you guys. Haven't been able to make it to any recent ones though

 

I hope someone is preparing notes for this meet, to take votes and etc, etc. so that everything gets covered for what will be the future of this get together......Maybe the first meet is too soon to sort all this out.......it could always materialize into NOTHING (i doubt it and I hope not) . Sunday will tell all, hopefully it will be organized and everything will go smoothly... The important thing is that ALL opinions are voiced and heard........

 

I personally own a Z and a G so I would like to include both vehicles with whatever I am involved in. I dont have time to invest in two clubs. If it is going to be an all Z club I think we should join on with the rest of the LA Z club, if not we will discuss it further on Sunday. I would like to keep the membership to Nissan based cars; perferably rear wheel drive or ones that contain VQ35 motors.

 

As far as the lunch spot, Country Tavern, Imperial Cathy, Savioes, Johnny's Pizza, etc... Someone have any sugestions on these places. If it rains we will meet in the boardwalk garage between 2-3 then go eat at one of the resturants down there.

 

So THIS SUNDAY 2:00 shreve city, if it rains 230pm at boardwalk garage!

yeh pics were taken, waiting on ACI318 to post them (RIFFLE!!) the meet was a success! Approx 9 Zs and Gs showed up! 4 weeks and we do it again!

We need to set another date and loc of when we will me again. Went to the Smp site to try to get some pics but no one has posted any yet.
