The following is "copy & pasted" from the Kansas City based Heart of America Z Car Club website. A Zocial is our version of a meet-n-greet.

After a 2 month break (December was the Christmas Party and January was the Zuper Bowl) we're getting back on track.
Mark you calendar for Wednesday, February 28 to meet at Old Chicago Pasta & Pizza at 119th & Metcalf in Overland Park. That's on the northeast corner and is across the parking lot south from Best Buy. We'll be in the bar.
If you're new, the Zocial is an informal get together of Zed Heads to have a bite to eat (optional), have a drink (optional), and chit-chat and get better acquainted (mandatory). THIS IS NOT A MEETING!! THERE IS NO AGENDA!!
You say you don't drink? We don't care. Come have a soda.
You say you're not hungry? We don't care. Come have a couple of sugar packets at the table.
You say (a) your Z isn't running, (b) your Z isn't nice enough, (c) you don't own a Z.or (d) you don't want to take your Z out in this crappy weather, WE DON"T CARE! It's not important how you get there, we just want you there!!
The usual astericks apply:
*Official starting time is 6-ish, or whenever you get there.
*Official ending time is whenever you leave.
*You are responsible for your own tab.

I actually might be up there working with Sprint on something, I will definitely go to the meet if i get sent out there.

 

Great to hear. This Old Chicago is just a couple of blocks west of Sprints HQ.

 

I will try to be there. It all depends on the weather. I guess I will be the one from Wichita to represent.

 

I'll try to be out to this one....thats if I can get my car out of the paint shop in time.

Why is this on a Wednesday? I'll try to get that day off. So it wil be a maybe for me if I go or not.

 

Almost every month the Zocial is on a different night and a different location. I try to appease as many people as I can by moving it all over Kansas City and hitting various nights including some Saturday nights.

 

There's been a slight adjustment to the Zocial. Instead of meeting in the bar we will be in a room off the main dining room called "The 30's Room".
The reason we were moved from the bar is because it "World Beer Night" and the official kick off for St. Patricks Day! Sounds like a blast.
