damn bro they must ve changed them, that one doesnt even have the pinchers on the sides.
yeah mine doesnt have that line in the middle of the 6 prongs and the metal piece blocking it. sigh my bad.
yeah mark defin hit me up friday now that i look and compare the mobos and the plug i think the old psu is mad to clasp onto that metal piece. it's just testing this old one and if it fits. but yeah man I think the swap should work. lol reminds me of the RCA and composite cable snafu we had last time lulz.
lol mark i got some info over at the xbox-scene hacking forums and asked i got a response. about what they changed too.
"The reason the old one works in the arcade is because the arcade needs less wattage to run since its a newer board. so there is no problem using a higher wattage power supply with it. however the old refurb needs the higher wattage, so the newer psu's have a slightly changed connector so you dont try to plug it into an older xbox. As the wattage ratting isnt high enough."
so a simple swap should work like the video cables lulz dont buy one till we try it!
