Here I come
If your in to good eats, I'd recomend Emerils for visitors, not too pricey, and great service. Bayona, super food, super service, a bit $$$, but worth it for sure! Good basic New Orleans food off the beaten path, Couchon, Herbsaint. Acme Oyster House is just behind the Marriott and youmust try the Charbroiled Oysters!!! Im in sales and take customer out on lunches all the time
www.nola.com is a great resource for events etc.

Couchon's is really good, been there. A mom and pop style place with REALLY good food for cheap is Fredrick's on St. Charles closer to Poydras, go there for lunch all the time. Drago's is a plus, Crazy Johnies across the street from Drago's in Metairie makes bad *** steaks for good prices. The list can go on and on LOL.
