Im going to be coming to New Orleans from Feb 9th till the 15th.

Are you staying on one of the three Navy bases or a hotel, If you are staying on a base and have an option as to which one, try to get on the Algiers NSA, its close to the city and our west bank crew the *****.

My wife is going to be there for a conference and I am just tagging along for the hell of it.

Im not a big drinker, but I enjoy having a few beers. Im pretty much down for anything.

Very nice place to be staying, you will really be able to enjoy the city from there. You are within walking distance of the French Quarters, Riverwalk, Harrahs Casino( Nice even if you don't gamble). If you like cheese burgers you are going to have to go visit Port of Call maybe the NOLA guys can take you. If you like food with flavor then you should bring plenty of money for food because we have some great places to eat.
