I would like to hear some aftermarket exhausts other than some video clips. Is there anyone around the Garden City area that would like to have a meet up?

I know there is quite a few wichita guys on here. I wouldn't mind meeting up halfway maybe in greensburg or somewhere. Around May or June I hope to get my first mod, other than the drop in K&N lol.

Right now I am really thinking about the top speed Pro N1. What are your guys thoughts on this?

 

I'm getting my 07 Z back today and I put Nismo exhaust on it, but I'm in KC, if your up here I'd be happy to let you hear it.

Are you happy with it? How much of a difference have you noticed compared to stock?

 

I just moved to Ft. Riley. Not sure how far that is for you but in any case I have a Borla exhaust.

Yea i live in Wichita and i got a G, that would be pretty sweet to have a meet for the exhaust. I got stock right now but am looking at a Borla anybody in Wichita have one installed???

Saw a couple Z's in Topeka today... gotta try to find these guys!

One was black and lives in the apartments near 17th and Fairlawn. I've seen his Z plenty of times because my grandma lives near there, but saw him driving today and he's a younger guy.

Another one, white, was at Target and the guy was at his car talking to his friend. If I wasn't in a hurry, I would've came up and said something. Another younger guy.

So hopefully these guys are on here, I need some Z people in Topeka to hang out with! I'll be reposting this in a couple threads to try to find these guys.

We also need to get a regular meet going for guys in the area. Maybe once a month or something. Lawrence or KC should work for most people. Get a little grilling going on, hanging outside and enjoying the weather. Let me know what you all think!

 

Someone told me there is some big carshow going on in Topeka next weekend. Anybody know anything about it?

An update for me. I have the RS*R exmag GT II exhaust installed. If anyone is around Garden City and wants to check it out let me know. I also will be installing a Motor Dyne 5/16 ISO plenum spacer hopefully next weekend.

 

Oooooh.... nice!!! Do you have any pics of it installed? Would you be able to make any sound clips for us on the other side of the state?

I thought it sounded pretty good! You can definitely hear the difference from stock. How much did the RS*R cost you? I'd like to get a better exhaust but I'm really picky about everything, sound price and looks. RS*R looks nice, sounds good to me from your vid...

 

Thanks Felix, I got a great deal on it used. It was only 337.00 shipped! New it will run anywhere between 800-1000 not including shipping. I just watched the forums and found a guy in Texas that wanted to get rid of it. I am not crazy about the canisters but in person they look nice. They are not huge or really out of place.

I just got another comment about the exhaust from an older guy at work. This is not the guy to give compliments about that stuff. But he told me he is used to hearing little hondas and other cars and mine doesn't sound like that. He said mine sounds really good. I told him I didn't want a bumble bee exhaust.

I don't think it is too loud either, I am either going deaf or just getting used to it lol.
