Good luck with the house renovations. My wife and I are planning on buying a house soon between sherwood and cabot. We are in the stage of figuring out if we want a newer house or a fixer upper. Watching all those home improvement shows gives me confidence that I can renovate a house and make some dough when we sell it later on.

 

I wouldnt buy in cabot as i have friends that built new homes there and the water utilities went through the roof, so much so they sold and bought/built elsewhere.

My net connection at the house died at 4am. I know this because my alarm system went into trouble and woke me up. I thought I could reset it at lunch - one of the many reasons I couldnt get up there, but the PC (linux firewall box) that runs everything toasted itself. So I had to look at that over lunch.. when I got home tonight, Comcast had done something to the signal strength and I had to reconfigure my cable to get a connection again. I'm not sure if it was all related, but I *had* to get that back online.

I still have ALOT of configuration stuff to do on this temp equipment I'm using. And I have to throw another PC together tomorrow. First time I've had problems like this in 3 years.

Yeah got some more pain meds today!!!!!! Man did i need them as i have been in so much freaking pain. woot woot i took one and already feel so much better. They are setting me up w/ a top nuerologist and apparently ha has to review my charts to even accept me as a patient? they said it will be aug early sep before i would even be able to see him if he takes me on as a patient. I guess since he's the top neuro guy its a hassle to see him but well worth it if he can get my symptoms taken care of.

 

Oh yeah did yall see the gun/drug bust in NLR???? it was on channel 11, woot they might have my guns/camera/etc. (wishful thinking) but they said some of the stuff had been taking just last week. that would be freaking so sweet to get them back.

 

Are you talking about the guys that had the stuff in a storage shed and got busted by the cops when they went to the shed? If so then yeah. I hope you get your stuff back. I hate thiefs. Last year my Dodge Ram was stolen (reason I got the G) which my insurance paid off. My 4 wheeler was stolen a month before that out of the same parking lot. Unfortunately I didn't have insurance on that and still had 3K to pay on it. The thing that sucks the most is that I finally paid it off and have the title but no 4 wheeler. :-(

I dont know why it's so bad here.. it could be the that the cops rarely make busts like this. They rarely investigate any property crimes

Yeah im doing better thanks, def have a long way to go but? it could always be worse. Im thankful to be alive and have good family and friends! I wont be going to z-fest as i have pretty much ate my vacation time up, i have a lil trip i still want to take to NOLA hopefully this fall. If you go take alot of pics and post them up in this thread.

Brad will prolly be up for it, i actually missed a call from him today (cough,cough) I cant talk on the phone while at work!!!!!!!! Im sure steve and vonda are out as they have vonda's brothers kids for a week. ? I dunno though steve might need to get out for a bit,lol. AFBOY you want to try to get together?
