I'm with you here. The Zis the first non-GM car I've downed. The GTR is amazing it's technology and finesse, but there is no substitute for raw power. That, and I 'm not sure if I could give up tail slides on demand.

New to 350z here. Wanted to say hi to all. And intro myself. I'm Jeff but everyone calls me J. I'm in the little rock area. Recently purchased a 2006 White Touring. (Yes auto---I know, I know... But a 6-spd was out of the question for what I do for Alltel)
Glad to see others in Arkansas on here. I use to own a 2005 Burnt Orange Type-S. Recently traded for the Z.

-I'm curious to see if anyone knows of the best stealership in town to get warranty work done?
-Also, anyone know of a great local detailer that can claybar/wax?
-Anyone know of a good alloy wheel shop in town? The only problem thus far on this 350z is the woman whom owned it before me curbed the heck out of the passenger rims to the point that it's missing slight chunks in the rim.
-I drive a 2006, and was wondering if there were things I should know about (besides the OC issue I've read about on this forum)

I see the GTR was mostly the talk of page 28. If you see a silver GTR in town, hit it. It's most likely my Uncles. Less someone else around town got a silver one recently. He hardly takes it out. So if you could do me the favor and drive crazy when you are around it that would be appreciated as I love hearing his stories of "crazy lady almost hit me" the rare times I see him. And I agree with that one guy on page 28 that it doesn't stick out that much in person. Girls can't really distinguish what it is. And I've yet been able to drive it. Not holding my breathe though.

I also own an auto, 2006 c/s, I get flamed all the time, you'll get use to it.....I've yet to take mine to a shop yet...guys any help here???? I've got a set of stock wheels that are in great condition, no curb damage, hit me up if you are interested.....I have had absolutely no probs with my Z so far, 29k and still lovin it......

for mounting, 'Amigo' at Discount Tire (not the chain) on JFK in NLR does very very good work. He did my Rays (with crazy delicate anodized lip) and my Advans flawlessly. if he's not there, come back later. its a great shop with good honest people, but he's the only one in town I'm letting touch my wheels. Also, their prices are very good.

For repair, I'm not sure..

Thanks for the info! Tware thanks for the tip as well!
Longhorn, how much you want for all 4? I'm having a wheel repair man come by my office Friday to give me a quote. But I'm curious how much you want for yours just in case. Thanks again.

Awesome, I got your reply to my PM I think I mis read that thread you started awhile back. Anywho, when are you available and how much do you charge? Furthermore, do you have anything to clean the 350Z headliner?
Also, see your post here have you resolved this issue? Or by chance do you know how to remove that piece so as to get it painted?

That piece is easy to get off, although i think it would be a real PIA to paint.
Of course i have stuff to clean the headliner As stated im pretty good at detailing.
as far as price i would have to see your car and know what all you want done. I mean you can take a detail pretty far(its never ending really) Im not sure what weekend i could do it? i would need it for most of the day regardless though. Again depends what all you want/need done.

I have an auto too

Anyways about the detail...get on www.arrides.com and look up "hatrickstu." His name is stu and he does very very good work. He has his own section on that forum and there are many before and after pictures.

Anyways good to see another 350z owner here in little rock...

It's all good by not sure why you would refer someone who isnt even a member here, doesnt own a Z,etc. I mean this is a the local thread for us which BTW i started? I was refered as a good detailer, etc. I just think it was kinda tacky and you could have pm'd him that info, i guess it is kind of a slap in the face to me!

Yes i understand this is a public forum, but seeing how we are all local and this thread is a local area thread, i think it would have been in better taste to have pm'd him that info. That is all im saying.
And to the other question, this thread is slow because there isnt very many of us on here which sucks but? what can you do.

Didn't see that you posted that. Sorry. I will get a mod to delete this.

Go to this guy since he is member of this forum and owns a z/g car.

Again I quoted and replied before reading any further, was not ment to be a slap in the face.

But for future reference I will watch what I say in the thread you started on this public forum.

this is exactly why we need to all meet. I doubt either one of you would have taken it personally if we all knew each other.

btw, I didnt really see it as a slap in the face to you Adam, they've never seen your work. He's only mentioning what he's personally seen.
