HAZCC Fall Foliage CruiZe
Per the Kansas City based Heart of America Z Car Club website:
The May DayZ CruiZe, postponed in May due to severe weather has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 25, and renamed the May DayZ/Fall Foliage CruiZe.
Let's plan on meeting at The Legends Shopping Center in the parking lot across the street west of the McDonald's at 106th & Parallel. Please be there by 10:30 a.m. with a FULL tank of gas. Where we're going, gas stations can be few and far in between.
You'll be provided a set of directions taking you along the entire route. We'll be stopping for lunch in Atchison before proceeding on. Included in the directions is a list of restaurants within walking distance.
Our final official stop will be in St. Joseph.
The May DayZ/Fall Foliage Tour is designed to be a leisurely paced drive so as to provide everyone a low stress and pleasant day. Also, many members have older Z's and we want them to feel comfortable with the pace.
The Legends Shopping Center is located near the Kansas Speedway at I-435 and I-70.
