Before we have a meet out there, we should take a day to visit the area, check road conditions, stuff in the area, etc.

 

I plan on doing that. there is also another great road from Ruston to Homer, I think its 146 or 156, It has some great twisties. I'll try and figure out a good loop we can make.

 

BTW cow, do you work as a landman? Riffle told me he thought thats what you did and I forgot to ask. I do Oil and Gas Leasing. (thus plenty of time to be on here) LOL

 

Yes sir. I abstract only, though. I did leasing for a while, but I like the set hours of courthouse work. I don't like being stuck in shitholess like Coushatta, though.

 

Yeah i like Leasing because I get to drive a lot! LOL but I just started with a new broker, JW Porter and they seem to want me in the office from 8am to 5pm! SUCKS! Come on 5 o'clock!!!

Olivia took a few pictures of James' car & I believe Amanda took pictures of everyone's car, but beyond that, I don't think so.

The next gtg will be bigger & maybe we'll do pics then.

I *might* be able to hook you guys up with decent lodging if you wanted to stay over night. I know the owners of a lodge-type place and it would be off peak.

 

Sounds great to me! I love that area! Worked there for a while. Drove back and forth to VanBuren and Heber Springs area. Lots of great mountain scenery and twistie roads. Count me in for sure!

couldnt help but to notice this thread. i live in arkansas near the van buren area. i just got the the 350 going again. im temporarily in DC but ill be back in arkansas by november. as far as i know im one of the few twin turbo z in the area. i havent found a meet, and have considered the TX scene. let me know if you guys have room for one more.

That area posted above looks awesome, but I think November is too soon. Let's wait for January or February & make it more of a big deal.
