Kansas City Region SCCA Road Rally, November 14 and 15th.
Giving you plenty of advanced notice......
The SCCA will be hosting two Road Rallys on November 14th and 15th.
The Rally on Saturday, November 14th will be on all paved roads. Tentative plans call for it to begin at The Legends by the Kansas Speedway and the finish line will be in scenic Weston, MO.
The Rally Sunday, November 15th rally will be on all dirt and gravel roads!! Make plans now to drive your daily driver or borrow someone's car.
Both Rallys will be Time/Speed/Distance rallys. You'll be given specific instructions/directions and your goal is to hit designated checkpoints within an allotted time. For more info on how a TSD Rally works, look here: http://www.kcrscca.org/new/content/rally
You can run both or either Rally.
You do NOT have to be an SCCA member to participate. There will be a registration fee.
Meeting times and places will be provided later.
You must have a navigator to compete.

The weather looks good for this weekend. Saturday in the low 60's with a 20% chance of rain. According to one weatherman the rain will be overnight Saturday into Sunday. Sunday's weather will be sunny and mid-50's.

If you've never done this before, I highly recommend you bring the following:
*Pencil/Pen-There will be registration forms to fill out when you get there plus you may want to use it to track the variance from your odometer and the "official" odometer readings.
*Clipboard, tablet, etc.- or something to write on.
*Cheap stopwatch- I use mine to synchronize with the "official" clock.
Oh, and its to your benefit to show up with a full tank of gas.
