Branson Z Fest 2010
To help you in planning your 2010 vacations/time off for work, etc. I thought I'd put the word out the "official" dates for Branson Z Fest is June 4-6th.
Branson Z Fest is a gathering in Branson, MO. in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. Although the schedule and agenda has not been released typically there is a drag night, scenic drives on some of the funnest roads you'll ever drive, and car show. Maybe the most fun are the parking lot "conferences" held day and night which is a great way to meet and chat with your fellow ZedHeads.
Last year we had attendees drive from as far away as California and Washington to New Jersey and even Ontario, Canada. We even have a guy who flies in from Finland for this!!
NOTE: The "official" dates are the dates that events are scheduled. Many/Most people arrive earlier to make their own fun-either on the local roads or at the numerous Branson attractions.
The website is not yet up and running but I'll keep you posted.

I hope you'll make it.
Going from memory, here are the states represented in the past: CA., WA., AZ., TX., OK., KS., NE., MN., IA., MO., AR., LA., MS., KY., TN., IL., MI., N.J., CT., and Ontario. Canada. I probably left some states out.
Additionally, a guy from Finland flies in (this will be his 3rd year) and this year will be a chap from England.

Although www.bransonzfest.com is not open for registration there is a lot of good information re. what's been done in the past. The "official" events are Friday and Saturday. I believe the "unofficial" events begin with various local drives.
One of the nice things about BZF is that you can do as much or as little as you want. If you don't want to go with the pack on any of the drives, maps are available for you to go on your own.
More info to follow.
Oh, BTW, the hotel and the rate is the same as last year. Don't quote me but I think the room was about $55+tax and that includes a good hot breakfast.

www.bransonzfest.com is now open for registration and posting and pimping on the forum.
In the past Z's from 21 states-including all in this forum except Alabama-and Canada have attended This year we have confirmed guests coming from Finland and England.
As I mentioned earlier, this is a pretty laid back event. You can do as much or as little as you want. Personally, I'll be taking day trips into Arkansas and Southern Missouri. Maps are provided. Go by yourself or get a group together.
"Official" events includes drag racing Friday night and car show Saturday with awards. Rumor has it there may be a dyno Friday night.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
Hope to meet a lot of you there!

Registration are already starting to come in and the event is still a little less than 3 months away. History tells us folks tend to wait and register at the last minute.
Here's an update as of today:
*There are 28 registrations/cars.
*States include AR.(4), MO.(8 ), OK.(3), MI.(1), TX.(3), WA.(1), KS.(1), OH.(1), NE.(2), WI.(2), and IL (1).
*I can't determine what cars are represented yet due to the sketchy information I'm looking at. I hope to break it down later.
We're off to a great start.

we're IN! just spoke to him this morning and he said to sign us up asap and get the hotel booked. i sent an email through the website concerning both of our vehicles and how to register them BOTH in the show... is that possible with the single registration or do we have to have a double registration?
