I was just wondering if there is anyone on here in the Ocean Springs, MS area or MS in general?

I will be leaving Annapolis for Norfolk for a few months for schooling then down to MS for 1.5 years or so.

 

I am from Hattiesburg, MS about an hour from ocean springs.

 

corinth here, all the way in the northeast near the Tennessee line.

 

Nice. How is it down there weather wise and any tracks around your parts?

 

It's like being in an oven with a damp towel over your face lol, but really it's hot and humid most of the year, and the winters are not bad at all, rarely ever snows maybe once every few years. There's 2 drag strips, one close to Hattiesburg and the other in gulfport, closer to you. There's nola motorsports park in New Orleans that is a 2.75 mile road course, they also hold drift events and autocross events, there's also auto cross events that happen all around Mississippi.

 

Nice, and great description on the weather I'm from the border of Mexico down in Texas (Brownsville) so I can relate. I'm tired of these ******** winters here. The wife says she is going to miss snow, however, snow and salt just sucks in general for all cars........

 

i havent popped in these forums in forever. not a lot of a z crowd anymore as there used to be. i miss my baby everyday. will have another after the wife starts working even if our mercedes is faster
