I figured I'd go ahead and post this thread. There's been a couple posts about having another meet in the next few weeks (mostly to checkout Tig's sweet coupe).

Wren suggested May 8th, I know Tig might be at the track that day, but if that is the case we could do it on the 15th. We could have it where ever, I know last time Hooters was suggested.

Post if you can make it and if you have any suggestions.

 

I can make it basically any weekend this summer. I don't know Birmingham well at all; I heard there is some crawfish/music thing the weekend of May 8th and a girl invited me to go with her, so I may do that if the festival is worth anything; does anyone know anything about it? Anyway, just let me know and I'm down for meeting everyone again in Bham. There are a few Z owners here in T-Town I will try to get to come also.

 

One suggestion I just thought of... what about an all vq35 meet? That way we would have much more participation...

i was thinking that May 15th might be a better date to give more than one week to get the word out. i think b'ham is a good central location. was it hooters on lakeshore we had talked about before??

 

Tig can't make the May 15th. Would you rather push it back to the 22nd or try and get something organized for the 8th?

I figure if we waited till the 22nd we might get more people out. the only thing is that is the Tail of the Dragon weekend.

Hrm, are a lot of people actually going to Tail of the Dragon? If not, I say we push it to the 22nd...

 

I'm up for anything.. I don't think there are going to be alot of people from our area going to Tail of the Dragon, maybe some of the frenzy Atlanta crew.

The 22nd works for me but I'm open for anything. Just trying to get something organized in the near future.

 

Well, it's settled.. The meet will be May 22nd at 2pm in Birmingham at the Hooters of Homewood (i believe).

I hope that everyone can make it. Reply if you can..

BTW.. Anyone with a VQ35 is more then welcome to attend!!

Redefined: what does your car club consist of?

 

I rode over there today to see how big the parking lot is. The Hooters parking lot is pretty cramped but behind the Hooters is a huge parking lot we can go to (like 50 yards away).
