MidWest Z Fest - Sept. 2nd - 6th in Kansas City, MO.
Picture this:
As you pull into the parking lot you realize that you are surrounded by Nissan Z’s. Still feeling the effects of the massive amounts adrenaline your body produced during your time on the drag strip the night before, you make the decision to take the parking place between the ‘70 240Z coup and ‘05 350Z ragtop. As you slip into the chosen location you can’t help but notice that the license plates on the 240Z are from TX and the 350Z plates are from IA. Telling yourself that you MUST spend more time with your significant other and less time with people from hundreds of miles away, you reach down and pull the door handle. Before the sounds of the opening door latch register with your brain, you are hit with the smell of a classic Kansas City BBQ. (There goes the idea that you were actually going to talk to your significant other during this event.) HECK, IT’S TIME TO EAT! (They can wait until later for that chat.)
You think that is all a dream? Think again! This September the HAZCC will be hosting a four day event that will include a night at the race track, a BBQ picnic in a scenic park, a show and shine car show, a tour of a local multi-million dollar car collection, a competitive road rally, poker run and MUCH MORE! Four days will provide everyone plenty of time to see the Z’s from across the Mid West, eat some BBQ, stop in for a few hours at the casinos and even spend some time at Kansas Speedway.
The event will be held September 2nd – 6th in Kansas City, MO. Check out the event web site at www.MidWestZFest.com for more details.
SPECIAL NOTE: Check out the “Contact” area of the web site for a way to post your comments and questions. Let others know you plan on coming and help spread the word!

The countdown to the Midwest's BEST event of the year is ON. In less then one month people from all over the central US (and even one driver coming in all the way from Alanta GA.) will gather together in Kansas City for the Midwest Z Fest '04. (Rumor has it that Mike T. from TX also plans on attending.. but just like the Grammy Awards we offer no guarantees on listed attendees. )
I have personally witnessed the many, many hours of preparation that are being donated by some very dedicated HAZCC members. Plans are in place for a HUGE BBQ picnic lunch, an evening at the drag strip and even a poker run that will take you to places like Kansas Speedway, Liberty Memorial, The Plaza (world class shopping), and even by three different river boat casinos! With the full schedule of events and the time built in to return back to these venues during the "down time", we can guarantee you one heck of a good time!
