I bought this about 1.5 years ago as a backup transmission for my STU Z. My mechanic stumbled on a new Transmission that a dealer installed and then removed when the client/extended warranty co. refused to pay for it. I was told that it was installed, road tested...and then removed. Aside from a few marks where the mounting bolts go, it looks brand new.

I didn't need a transmission at the time, but the price was good and I figured I would need it eventually with all the racing I did.

Now that I no longer have my Z, it needs to go.

I'm asking for $1k and a local pickup. I will consider shipping at owner's expense, but I would prefer not to ship.

It's basically like buying a car that was taken on a single test drive for ~half price "because used". So, yes.

I think with Mike says used he just wants people to know it was bolted and then removed. You can easily buy a trans on ebay for 500 yes with 100k miles $815 with 86k miles.

Z1 who I know a bunch respect is selling this same trans for $1895.
