I will check my list when I get home. I didn't think about scanning it in. I will try and do that tonight if mine is any different. I have the page with the score for each of the 10 parts of each category as well.

Also, when you look at these scores. You can not compare between classes as each class was judged by a different judge. There were 3 judges for 350Z modified, 3 judges for 350Z stock, 1 judge for daily driver, and 1 judge for Nissan modified. They all scored differently. As you can tell the 350Z modified exterior judge only took off between 0 and 4 points. While the 350Z stock judge took off between 0 and 24.

Great. I have the individual 10 scores as well but figured it would make for a longgggg page as you can see by the one I did for ZU L8R so I just put in the total scores.

I found my sheet with my number - M601. I didn't get any deducts except for interior for some reason. My interior was spotless too, which makes me wonder why I got 47 points deducted....I could have scored a perfect score if it wasn't for that interior judge!

The interior judge was rough, but at least he was the same accross the board, I can't imagine what M607 looked like inside?

Sucka that was my car. It wasn't show winning clean, but I did vaccum it and I HATE that armor all shiny look so I don't use anything like that on my car. I did clean the dust off the majority of the plastic inside. This is what the interior looks like, I took pics right after the show near the hotel:

As for Mike's score on engine. I think you were one of the ones that didn't get judged cause your car was locked and you weren't standing next to it to open the hood.

You make a good point.

However, the head judges and organizers of the show clearly stated before hand and at the show that judging will start at 9:30 a.m. As I was walking around there were people still setting up/cleaning up, which I have absolutely no problem with. I went back to those people some time later in the day and judged when they were prepared. I know that I walked each and every aisle more than 10 times slowly looking for cars that I may have missed or waiting for owner's to be by their cars.

LOL, those mats do look kind of rough

Anyway, it was all fun, these guys volunteered for a thankless job, well you know that. No matter what there will always be someone that doesn't agree with their score, we had that down here at our events and decided to just go to peoples choice on all categories, that did away with people being upset at judges and the judges being able to enjoy the event as well.

I don't know, my engine was pretty clean so I think I deserved a good score (maybe not perfect). I was judged on all three categories (engine, exterior, and interior). None of the judges skipped me.

I just noticed that I had the third best score in the 350Z modified. They didn't give out a trophy for 3rd place?

WTF!

It was first and runner up for trophies. As for your car, I will check my sheet when I get home cause I don't remember any perfect engine scores.

this is probably a very dumb question but does the lower the total scor the better? I was comering the scores of car 701 and 709, and eventhough 701 had better scores it got less total.

The individual scores for each category are actually the total deductions in that category so in those cases the lower the better, then you add up the three numbers for the three categories and subtract the total from 300 and that is your final score and then the one with the highest score wins.
