Once again the directions are, enter at the East Gate, make your first immediate left on to Stonewall Jackson Dr.

From there you will go around 2 miles, and the entrance to the Hilltop pavilion is on the left side of the road as you go downhill, curving toward the right, just before the Dam. There is a sign for the Hilltop pavilion as well, right where you turn in.

Make a left into the entrance, and the pavilion is at the top of the hill, with a good size parking lot that can accomodate over 100 cars.

The only fee is the $8 parking fee to get in the main gate, Zeek and I are covering the food costs, but you are welcome to contribute if you want, but that is only if you want to do so.

Now it looks if I may not be able to make it. My car is at Z1 and has been there since Tuesday trying to identify my VERY low boost pressure issue. I am boosting about 2.5-3.0 psi lower than what I should be running and they dont seem to know what the problem is. If my car is back from them and if the hurricane is not kicking a$$ I will be there. My G/F will be with me if I come.

What if it is raining? Is anyone going to lose money for if folks don't come cause of weather?

If the weather is nasty then chances are I will not be able to make it.

I need a gasket for the driver's side valve cover. I wonder where I can get that. Think the local dealer will have one?

It will take a total wash out to cancel. Hopefully the majority of the weather related to Arlene will be out of here by Sunday afternoon.

I will post an update if that changes.

A few showers won't cancel it though.

The pavilion is covered if a shower does pass over the meet.

What do you mean is anyone going to loose money?
The only money lost would be the $8 bucks you pay for parking..drinks and food are provided by Warren (veetec) and me

Gotcha, well hopefully it won't be to bad.

"What do you mean is anyone going to loose money?"

I asked that because I wasn't aware if someone had to put up money to reserve a area for this meet. That kind of thing, because if the weather is bad and most folks don't show well it would suck if you guys had to put up money for the area

The weather has been a major concern, but as of now there are only a few small showers left to come through, and one very thin line back around the border of Alabama.

The ground is wet from the rain up to now, but since it doesn't appear that there will be anything major coming, the meet is still on.

The sun just came out here for a few minutes and the satellite picture shows a lot of breaks in the clouds, which is hopefully a sign of things to come for the afternoon.

I appreciate the invitation and opportunity to meet everyone.
I was surprised with the turn out...given the weather conditions.
It was good to see some of the mods/upgrades in person.
Lemans....that is one sick 350!
Thanks again Zeek for the hospitality.

Tak
