Carolina Z Jam Car Show (8/13/05 Charlotte, NC)
My GOSH its a hot one out there. Had to come in from cleaning for a sec for a little cool down session.
Looks like I'll be waxing into the night as usual. See you guys bright and early tomorrow, and a couple of you in a few hours. Don't worry I'll shower up before I come..... maybe.

Sorry to say it guys but I'm not gonna make it to the show tomm. I've got 2 different people who have been blowing smoke up my a$$ about selling a kit so I've held the body shop off from painting my car from where I hit a deer. I thought about telling them to go ahead and shoot it earlier this week but as soon as I did, surely one of the 2 people would call up wanting to know where to ship the kit to so I'm gonna have to hold off a little longer to see if one of them comes through. Wish I could make it.
cool....lots of cool cars....lots of HEAT!!!!! We nearly passed of heat stroke afterward but the sushi we scored afterward made things a little better. Here's a link to pics I took with my cell phone cam. The few on the end are the sushi

Great Pic's Jeremy! I think Ray with the supercharged Z will post up some pic's also.
The highlights for me were:
1. I was a picked to be a judge, since I new all of the last Generation Z owners they had me judge the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation Z's
2. 1986 300Z that won "Best Of Show" because that car is 20 years old and it didn't even look like anybody sat in the car at all. 125k miles
3. 1996 Twin Turbo Z in Showroom with 43 original miles (yes 43) had original inspection sticker from 1997 still in the window, and the original price sticker in window.
4. Good folks, fun, food, Superchargers, and Turbos!
5. Overall a very classy, well thought out and planned event! I look forward to next year!

It was great to finally put a few faces to the names. You FI guys have got me drooling (mcduck and backagain). Hopefully, I can get my car in the judging next year with a few added goodies
Just wanted to say Thanks to Carolina Z Club for such a great event. There were lots of nice Z cars there, congrats to all who won awards. Maybe next year I'll have a few more mods and can be in the running for an award (although the 350z class has some stiff competition). Thanks again Carolina Z Club for all your hard work.
