anyone know of a good alignment shop in the Wilmington area? While in Iraq, im stock piling my suspension products and mods happily awaiting my arrival home. Looking at getting all of my stuff on, however want to make sure I have my alignment done correctly by people who have worked on Z's before. Any help would be greatful. Thanks.

 

i dont think there are any good ones in wilmington but i think there might be some in jacksonville. when are you coming back from iraq. i will be in wilmigton come august and would love to get together with some other z + g owners in the area

 

Ill be coming home at the beginning of Aug so keep in touch. Ill be doing my suspension mods and putting on my new GT-AV's, so I might head to Jacksonville. Do you know the name of the suspension tuning shops in jacksonville that you recommend?

my buddy on carolina nissans highly recommends him. he worked on corvettes so he knows his stuff.

Hey guys... Wilmington is in DIRE need of some car club action.

There used to be the Cape Fear Z Club, but it kinda fizzled out a couple years ago (people moving away, getting new jobs, selling their Zs etc) and its hurting real bad for some action. I'm about an hour and a half north in New Bern and I'm the track events coordinator for the Triangle Z Club from the Raleigh/Durham area - I'd be glad to help get some interest generated down there.

At any rate... my opinion is that any club started in wilmington would probably have to be a non-marque specific club sports car club. I haven't seen enough concentration in the area to warrant a Nissan exclusive club.

I think that would be cool to have some sort of organized club. Any type of organization would benefit all drivers if there's not enough Z's in Wilmington. Let me know what you plan on.
