Just curious as to how it compares to the rest of the country. I've heard hot and humid but how is it relative to somewhere like Atlanta or New York late summer? Thanks in advance.

Dec til March is actually beautiful weather!

I lived in South Florida for about 12 years and it's hell......suffocating heat and humidity all the time and then the Hurricanes. Add in the AMAZING amount of tourists and old people from the midwest and you get hell on earth. I hate floriday.....I don't even go back there to visit relatives.

 

Wow, anyone here like Orlando? If so what are the good points?

 

It's not horrible. We pretty much sumed up some of the negative aspects. Traffic and cost of living is increasing as well.

Positives: Employment, Clean, no emission ********, more people i have met to be of better "quality/personality" then when i lived in South Florida, entertainment.

 

I've lived in 5 different states now, and I just moved back to South Florida from socal after only being there one year, theres no place in the U.S. I'd rather live then here (Fort Lauderdale) I grew up in Seattle. I love the hot and humid now, nothing like tropical weather year around. As far as Orlando, I dont even like to travel to there, just a wierd place. It seems like every stupid road is a toll road there. Anyway why would you live in the middle of a Beach state when theres so many nicer places on the coast.

 

I lived in Orlando most my life, I love it, Weather isnt the best, but its def better year round, not tooo cold, but summers get too hot. Im used to it.

 

I hate Tampa weather. Orlando can't be much different.
