Bypass valve doesn't do crap. I have it on my INJEN CAI and it still somehow manages to let some moisture in and bog the engine at times until it dries. There were water droplets inside the tubing when I took it off to clean the filter. Just watch for big puddles and don't get the intake filter wet when washing your car.
When the rainy season really starts, I'm moving my filter up from behind the wheel well to the straight pipe. I'd rather lose some power (not even noticeable) in the 'short' intake than suck up water.
18 year old Z owner going on 3 months here North Miami area, Haven't really done much other than the agency power and bumper tuck the struggles real paying for your car going to school and work while wanting to buy parts haha I got it with the ugly wheels so that's probably going to be my next venture

Check out sfzcc.com, North Miami guy. Also on Facebook - search for South Florida Z Car Club.
Gonna be moving down to the Sarasota area. Anyone/any clubs down that way? I see Orlando and Miami seem to have a decent amount of people around, what about the Gulf side??
Sfzcc is active in Broward, Dade, Palm Beach and Collier counties - not just Miami. (Just FYI, Delray & Boca). Palm Beach meet is happening this Sunday (3/30/14): http://www.sfzcc.com/forum/showthrea...ch-Meet-Sunday
