I'm a married E-6 but I'll be going there as a bachelor

I heard we deploy soon so my wife is going to stay in Baton Rouge and finish her nursing school. I'm kind of hoping to find a 3 bedroom house to rent with a garage, thats not in the ghetto, a trust worthy roommate, and not too far from where I will be working. yea i know, high hopes right.......

Eh not entirely impossible. Definitely look into north of the post, north of Spring Lake area and into Harnett county. If you are looking south stick to Ramsey St and that side. I live on the south west side of post and the commute can be a pain in the ***. There is a ton of contruction going on and the gate is a mess so getting to work can be lame. Speaking of which I better get going.

Event on a Sunday? Not the best time otherwise I would def head out that way. Otherwise be looking in the parking lot on Friday after that. Just gonna dress warm. Car loves the cooler weather.

Expect to see some of NC top rides along with an awesome ensemble of drifters putting together a competitive drift battle. You will also see many familiar models made popular by GoGirl Entertainment. Music, food, and friendship will be provided in abundance. Top notch photographers will be on hand to capture your rides for the world to see.

SWD is excited to be hosting its End of Season where Drifters and Stanc'd out Hard parkers collide at Metrolina Expo! We are expecting a full field of Drifters for this event. We have reserved the indoor Paddock so our drivers can stay out of the elements (should the weather get cold) as well as be right in the mix with many spectators and fans.

Registration is Open! If you're a drifter that wants to get
some seat time please visit www.streetwisedrift.com and register Today.

The November 28th event will also play host to an ISO Cruise- In for some of the East Coast's Best VIP, Elite, Insane offset and Stanced cars you have ever seen. There is always plenty of room and plenty to do and see on event day.

I/S/O
I/S/O (Insane Stance and Offset)
Meets are organized by I/S/O and supported by the members
of Team RPM. These meets are really something to see and be a part of.
The quality and style of the cars that show up in force at these meets are amazing.

I/S/O meets offer a great mix of style and performance that
span a litany of different makes and models. It's a true
testament to the dedication of auto enthusiasts to see the
work that goes into these cars.

Vendor Row
SWD will also be hosting a Vendor Row for local shops to
come in and show off their goods and work.

Interested in Sponsorship opportunities or setting up as a vendor with SWD?

Contact support@streetwisedrift.com for more details.

SWD always has tons of space for cars and spectators in the Cruise-In area. The hanger area for the cars and vendors not only provides shelter from the elements if it's too hot, cold or raining, but it also overlooks the drift course and has walk through access to the indoor drifter's paddock.

Any of you have experience with taking off and messing with the door handles? I had one of the inside grommets fall apart on me so I had to order another door handle. Unfortunately thinking it was an easy job I went at it and luckily go all the bolts out without dropping them in the door. Then when all was going well sure enough....

Can seem to get the handle to lay flush and sit correctly. I have wiggled, disconnected / reconnected and everything. Cannot for the life of me find what is keeping it from sitting right. Not sure if I am missing the giant obvious issue or the door handle needs to get stomped.

PM Z_enthusiast He is on the NOLA forum. He is a body repairer and just finished r/r my door handles for paint less than a month ago. Show him the pictures, I'm sure he can give you some advice.

On a side note, I've got my eye on a house in Raeford, really close to base. How is that area?

Thanks man. I saw that little tab but swore I got it to sit in there correctly. The handle seemed to teeter towards the middle. I may swing by this week if I cant get it right. Little stuff like that drives me nuts.

Raeford is pretty much other side of town if you will be working at Simmons AAF. Not a bad area a lot of ppl are moving out that way but it will be a good trip to work.
