Default 12 second 5AT z Vortech SC(1/4 mile time)

I would like to recognise and also give Props to Tom From NLP in Orland Florida for the install and tuning in my car.!!!

Believe it or not, I just installed a Vortech SC in my Automatic Z. Ok I don’t want to make a long story here. Well, here are the facts, I ran a 12.9 on my first run with stock tires. (this is the 1st run since I got the SC installed so I am still learning). 2nd run I pull a 12.701 . That’s all. I only had a chance to run it twice. Please remember that I ran these times on stock tires and also in an automatic. I even love my 350Z more…Yahooooooooooo

Nice. That is fast man!

Any plans to get that aftermarket valve body kit for the tranny installed? Also curious, did you use the paddles or let it shift?

Ok guys,
Since someone said make the short story long here it is.
I have a kinetix manifold, kinetix hi flow cats, Injen true dual exhaust, and the SC by Vortech with the upgraded pulley that gives me 10psi. my dyno fluctuates between 360 and 370 rwhp. So I would say I have 365rwhp.
My 1st run: I used triptronic and I did a burnout before takeoff. I got a 12.9 in ¼ mile.
My 2nd run: I used triptronic again and also did a burnout. I took off in first and I delayed my shift from 1st to second so it misfired and then went to 2nd. Then from there it was all perfect till the end. I got 12.7 with 112mph.
I did not get a chance to go again coz the track was packed. So I will be oing next week on Wednesday.
(ONCE AGAIN THANKS TO TOM AT NLP FOR THE INSTALL AND TUNNING)
Till then take care
C.J.

Default That's my bro!

Good job. It's nice too see an investment pay off. I would have loved to see your runs. By the sounds of it, it probably was a great rush. Keep it up.
