WNC Rides is heading out to the Dragon to make a few runs this coming March. I'm planning on using it as a primer for ZDayZ, which is 2 months later. Feel free to come on out. The details are in the following link.

Dude let me know when you all are going. I am in Spartanburg, SC and it is not that far a drive. I would like to hit the dragon before ZDAYZ.

 

From the WNC Rides Website...

Who : WNCrides along with any other site, people, members, that want to join along for the trip.
When : March 11th (rain date March 18th)
Where : The Biltmore mall parking lot, to group up and leave together.
Time : Right now it's scheduled for a meet time of 8:00am and leaving around 9:00am to head out.
What : The Dragon Run, see link above. 311 curves in 11 miles
Why : Because we want too and because the road is awesome.

We've got a little time...so I'm sure the information will get a little more detailed as time goes on. Just make sure to keep checking back.

I would go but that is the weekend of my birthday and will have other plans.

How do I know this? The first two years I owned my Z I planned mountain drives during this time frame (close to, but not on my birthday). Both times the weather in the mountains we nasty... and that was just as far as the Asheville area. Deeper in the mountains will be worse. For those unaware, the snowiest month for this area is not Jan or Feb, but March.

I hope it works out for the group, but expect this drive to actually take place in April instead of March.

Just going to say the same thing. I'm all for promoting more Z gatherings, but..

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL ZDAYZ EVENT!!! If you are going to have a section devoted strictly to ZDayZ, this thread needs to be removed from this section. It has nothing to do with ZDayZ.

Guys - in the future use the "Report Bad Post" feature (the little red triangle with the exclamation in it). It will get the attention of the proper mod/admin faster and it won't clutter the thread with a bunch of posts about it being in the wrong place, etc.

I'm up for this if you guys will let an old guy with a G35 6MT ride along. It sounds like fun. And is it the Asheville or Biltmore Mall? I saw both referenced.
