Just as an FYI - there is a Z only event (that has now been opened up to other cars) at Taledaga on April 2. They are asking for $99 for Z's and $125 for other cars. If you are interested, go to Z1 Motorsports web site for more info.

How far of a drive is it to Gainsville from New Orleans?? I would definitly love to do it. If I could drive out there on like a thursday and leave sunday, I could do it. It might be worth the drive.

 

I'm booking the track tomorrow for June 3rd.Tomorrow I will be posting the official thread for everyone to confirm they will be attending.Between me and audiblemayhem(Jeremy) we already have 6-7 spots taken,so everyone interested please email me at boost4spd@earthlink.net once 20 cars is reached thats it no more spots.We will set a deadline on the attendance list so that at the deadline we will know what each person is spending,no more than $200(10 cars) no less than $100(20 cars)(there will be no problem getting 20 cars so it will be $100.00 each car)Look forward to meeting some new faces see ya soon.I will be more specific in the Official June 3rd Gainesville road course Rental tommorow.

Jeremy thats one of my close friends that moved away.He is a pretty damn good driver he like myself uses a late apex.Thats why it looks like he is going off track when entering a corner.

 

Are you going to have timing?

 

Jeremy is thinking of having a stop watch running to see who turned the fastest lap in a determined class.I'm cool with what ever as long as it is safe and no racing is happening.

 

i am more of a traditional apex so i can carry more speed evenly through the corner...


just seems smoother to me. anyone who knows of any other road courses that people in this area are meeting up and renting for the day, please PM me and i would love to go....

we also need to get some video people out there to shoot some nice videos...

 

I actually autocrosssed there, the pavement isnt all that wide, it's just a training facility.

I had video posted somewhere of me running an autox event there last year...
