I did my own. only had 1 tiny crack appear. 30 seconds of sanding and a dab of touch up paint and its gone.
I split the cost of renting a fender roller with 2 friends. Neither of them had any cracks. I would be crack-free if I kept the fender warmer. It was a cold day and I didnt get the heat gun all the way to the back like I should have.

Anyway, my point is: You have just as much chance of cracking your paint with a "pro" than just doing it yourself
Thanks for the tip. I'd be scared about not getting it warm enough vs heating it to the point I mess up the paint. Any input on how long you held the heat gun on it as you went along? Where did you rent the roller?

Sounds good, Alex. I have heard some use the aluminum bat method with good results. We ought to schedule a mod day where everyone can work on installing all the stuff we blow our money on.

I'm not sure since my buddy organized it. He rented it and I paid him $20 or something. Some guy off craigslist I think. Just keep the heat gun slowly moving and you won't mess up the paint. Just keep the bottom of the fender nice and evenly warm and you won't have a problem. Id do it on a warm day too.

i personally wouldnt try the aluminum bat method. Fender rollers dont cost that much - especially if you split the cost with someone.

I am good to go on MWF and can take off a Sat or Sun if need be. I think a roller only cost like $45 dollars but requires a $150 deposit.

ALSO I am looking for a new job so if any of you guys know of open positions let me know!!

Hey guys. I was wondering if there's going to be a caravan to zdayz from the atl area?

The gf's parents live down there and I might just drive to atl the weeked before and chill
there before zdayz.

I assume forged will have a caravan?

Anyone know of a place hiring for part time work?

I'm back in college and it has been a real pain to find a part time job and the funny thing is I'm open to work 5 days a week...

We may try to get something together. I'm sure we could get a good group to go up Friday morning, but I am not yet sure if I am going up Thursday night, Friday morning, or Friday evening...

I feel yah. I am buying a house and will be moving back to my stomping grounds(Alex watch out, you are going to be less than 5 miles away and my car needs some parts) As soon as I get my place set up, I am game for a meet/BBQ something. I dont understand why we haven't tried to set up a BBQ(that's what we are known for in the south)

There is a bunch of places that we could BBQ. In Marietta, there is a nice park on Roswell Road, that would allow for all that(flag FB, Frisbee, BBQ,) I have put together only 1 meet that was a success(2 if you count the very 1st mountain run) and that was in Marietta at Mazzys. I think if we had better planing, we could make it happen(maybe get Forged involved since they seem to be game always). I would love to BBQ, play some flag FB and spend a few hours on a Sat or Sun shooting the **** with other car guys.
