ATL Z owners

Ok. Atlanta native (Live in Conyers/Covington now) and long time high performance car enthusiast. Always have loved sports cars, but other than a Supra and a Talon TSi I've generally been into high-power muscle cars (especially old Pontiacs!). I finally bit the bullet and bought a 350Z (I've been looking at them for years, but money just hasn't been right due to the economy until recently). Currently beginning some mild mods (wheels/suspension/brakes) to prep for a Wolf Tech TT set up in the next few months. I keep seeing mention of meets and gatherings in our area. Is there a schedule somewhere or a calendar that has the local meets (w/ times & locations) available? I would love to meet some other local Z-car nutz, but not sure of where/when/how. Any info is greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Wat up fellas! Been on here a while but figure its time to reintroduce myself lol Names Austin / Stolly (Whichever you prefer)
Used to live downtown in a condo across from the Coke Museum now live up 85 by Clairmont Road area.
Resident mod tech, everything that's been done to the car I've done myself, except tuning, that goes to Z1.
Any questions about anything hit me up, if I'm off work I'm at whatever meets going on.

We try to have a meet in Conyers 1-2 times a month. It's just a bunch of local guys that come out and hang out and shoot the ****. The date is not set to my knowledge, but I think they post it up on a local Atlanta car site. There's only a couple of Z's that ever come out.

I know Forged used to use Bulter Tire in Marietta, but they go elsewhere now, I'm just not too sure where exactly. I think some members have gone to Bulter in Buckhead and have been happy.

Tomorrow!!!!
Atlanta Gs vs ZAtlanta Dyno Day Saturday August 31st, 2012 (TOMORROW)
10:00am to 6:00pm
Awards will be given for Highest Attendance and Highest Combined Horsepower on our in house Dynojet.
We will be offering 5% off of all parts purchased and 10% off of service performed during the event (only applicable to pre-scheduled work, must make an appointment before 8-28-12).
Food will be provided in part by Z1 Motorsports and with those willing to contribute to the event.
Only G/Z cars will be counted in the attendance competition, at the gate you will declare which group you wish to represent (meaning a Z can choose to represent Atlanta Gs, vise versa). The Group with the largest representation with receive a special gift from Z1 Motorsports, not the mention the bragging rights of being the MOST DEDICATED VQ GROUP IN ATLANTA!!!
The Dyno Competition will be based on OVERALL COMBINED HORSEPOWER. We will try to keep the quantity of cars even if participation allows, however a group with a larger number of willing participants would have a significant advantage. NA and FI cars are welcome. Dyno pulls will cost $30 for 3pulls (no AFR, Boost, etc). The group with the highest combined horsepower will receive a special gift from Z1 Motorsports, and the title of THE MOST POWERFUL VQ GROUP IN ATLANTA!!!

How's Atlanta guys/gals? I used to live there till I moved to Arizona for school. Anyways, my parents have had a hard time getting called into the hospital for work here, but in Atlanta it is the complete opposite. Atlanta Medical Center and South Fulton FTW! I might be going back there as soon as I finish my nursing program here so definitely looking forward to that. Btw, I heard from some family friends that it was 100+ there? I couldn't imagine that here in AZ where it's 120 during the summer months, but it's dry heat and not humidity. One thing I noticed too was that it's hard to find a good shop here to work on the Z. One shop here literally almost screwed up my car until I told the guy what to do. Atleast I know that Forged Performance and Z1 is always there.

If anyone has either for sale or knows somewhere I could buy one I'd appreciate the help. Thanks guys
