Toby, this sucks man... I was going to try and see about getting my car down for this, but after the DC HIN, not sure it makes sense. I am going to try the Boston show, but if things turn out the same as DC, I think I will hold off the rest of the HIN's and try to hit up the FunkMaster shows.

Enjoy the show guys. That Injected Performance car was just amazing...

How was the car show itself.

The pics of the girls were dissappointing to say the least. Can you say "busted"?

I'm not sure of the rules yet, you could check the HIN website or go to the Mid-Atlantic section here. Several of the guys just showed at HIN-DC I believe

NCCA changed the rules completely this year... Like BamBam has said... if you have any combination of mods... F/I and nitrous can put you in "wild" this year. So for those that are competing it gets frustrating. We built the Injected car to compete in Mild and we're in Wild now with the lambo door/widebody/20-tv screens cars... what you gonna do...

All levels of cars are shown at HIN, from near stock with wheels and a stereo to full blown crazy stuff. Since they changed the rules this year and the judging criteria is different I can't say I even know the right combination for a "street car" to be competitive but the shows are fun and for me the reaction of the attendees is worth it for me... and also keeping sponsors happy. :P

The Charlotte show was the "breakout" show a few years back and had a very suprising turnout.. the crowd was down last year but the show was still alot of fun...

This year the model "talent" seems to be a little shallow, since they don't fly out most of the Super Hotties that they did in years past so you end up with alot of local chicken head and the rare beauty... also the Sponsor presence has dropped off a bit... booths are smaller and they don't give away near as much freebies but it's still worth going for the cars... imagine that "cars being important at a car show"
