We're still working out details, but we already have several club sponsors returning and have already signed four partner sponsors (these were the guys who donated the BIG ticket raffle items last year!).

Activities schedule still in flux, but we have some ideas to make the weekend more entertaining and a little less busy. Nothing is final, but right now it appears we may have a Poker Run with the last stop setting up everyone for the huge group photo (as we did in 2004 and 2005). Of course, there will be the ZDayZ Car Show on Saturday. In addition, we are hoping to work out a way to have an outdoor movie night one evening of the event. Finally, we are in negotiations with FVR and local government for another activity so big it would require adding a day to ZDayZ!!! I'm hopeful, but realistically I think our chances are about 1 in 5 of this happening. Still, it was FVR's idea not ours. We'll see what happens. If it becomes official, I will announce the activity and the extended ZDayZ dates. For now, just assume May 18-20 is a lock for dates and that we may add either a Thursday or Sunday activity.

More news will be coming as things develop. Probably will be relatively quiet news-wise through December with things picking up as we progress into 2007. Of course, questions or comments can always be emailed to

wow...thats still 7 months away...gues you gotta start getting this together early. I should be there again this year more than likely.

 

Not only is there the amount of time involved with planning, it's nice to get the dates out to everyone as a reminder so that people who need notice can plan for the time off. Even though the event will always be the weekend prior to Memorial Day weekend, it's nice to have a reminder.

It's also good to reserve your room/cabin as soon as possible. I reserved our same cabin as we were checking out last year.

Can't wait to see your car again.

 

I left NC with the regret that I won't be able to participate in ZDayz. By far the most fun Z car event on the planet. I've gotta start a ZDays type of event out here in Oregon. Have fun guys!

wow, thats a lot of cars!!! Ya definately have my attention. So what all goes on at these events? What local entertainment is there? Did I read somewhere they were looking for volunteers for saturday maybe 3-4 hours???

We're asking the Z Club sponsors of ZdayZ to supply a couple of their members for some volunteer work to help things out and go smoother. With the increase of cars and attendees year to year, it's been somewhat of a strain on staff. But a good strain....

Where in the world did McDuck go? He used to love my350. His last post here was in June. Is he active at one of the other forums? Does he still have his car?

Yes he's active over at 350z - tech. <-------You have to remove the spaces since that site is banned here.

I know why and a couple of the mods know, one in particular................if I mention why he's not here, I may get banned. I'm not sure if I can say???

Wow..he is a great guy...does so much for the Z community.

I heard about this when my car was stock or after I got it (can't remember which) and I didn't make it. I definitely want to make it to this in 2007.

 

Let me just say he wasn't banned from here. The story and the threads were deleted from this site. You can find the reason (and the mod) if you search the other banned site.

went to my first club meet a week ago with 350z club of florida and had a wonderful time. i imagine zdayz in fontana n.c. will be a blast. i will see you all there. bigbudd..............
