Default NC Dyno Day- Feb. 24th!!!

ECMotorsports.com is having another dyno day in February on the 24th. We are still working out the details and we are debating between 2 shops. Both shops use Dynojet Dynos. Check this thread if you're interested. http://www.ecmotorsports.com/viewtopic.php?t=879

Yeah, it'll be in Greensboro. Either Turbo Tune or at Foreign Auto. Turbo Tune is good but we want more space, so it's looking more like Foreign Auto.

yeah... we just had 1 at Turbo Tune back in November. It was hot and it's just too cramped up there.

Just an idea of the mix of cars we expect, last time we had; Civics (turbo, K20 swap, etc), SRT4s, Audis, BMWs, 350Zs, Skyline R32 GTR, 240SXs, Turbo S2000, etc. I was the only 350 that dyno'd, so it'd be awesome to see some others show up. G35s too! Mark your calendars and try to make it. It's a good group of people and we'll probably end up going somewhere for food afterwards.

Final bump with all the info!

This will be at Foreign Automotive in Greensboro. It will start around 9am on February 24th. My understanding is that several forums and clubs may be coming and that the shop is hosting a dyno day, not just giving my friends' forum the slot.

The address:
Foreign Automotive
3909 W. Wendover Ave.
Greensboro, NC 27427

Telephone: 336-478-2244

Spread the word and stop by to check it out. There should be a wide range of cars at this event!

Wish I could make it, but I won't be able to this time. Make sure to post when the next one will be so I can plan on attending.

We're going to try and do one every few months so members of the local forum can keep track of gains. I'll keep posting them on here.

So what is the cost going to be? I had planned on going to turbo tune in the next couple of weeks to get some baseline numbers.

$40 for 3 pulls with AFR.

Last time, it was just ECMotorsports.com and we had about 25+. We had everything from civics to a skyline GTR. Very diverse.

Everything should start around 9am and last until everyone that wants to dyno is done. At that point, we'll probably go get something to eat.

Thanks to all that stopped by. I ended up laying down 257 WHP and 234.8 TQ. Not too shabby. Saw some nice looking Zs and Gs today!

Steve-O good looking Z. I managed 234 in my 5AT sedan. Definitely a good starting point.
