Angry Good Body Shop (Miami Area)

Hey guys, some old guy backed up into my daytona z's passenger side door while I was in a Publix parking lot (the one across the street from FIU)... Thankfully, the dent and scratches aren't too bad, as I saw him and honked at him enough for him to realize I was freaking there. Anyways, I obviously need to get this fixed so I was wondering if any of you fellow Miami Z owners could recommend a good body shop in the Miami/Broward area, since Weston Nissan is probably going to eat me alive in repair costs. I have a couple of other chips and scratches (nothing major) so maybe I could get those taken care of too. Thanks a lot guys.

Yeah it sucks ***** man. Anyways I found on the forum that 2 good places (body shops) around the 305/954 are Marlin Motors and Miami Chasis... Any other suggestions? I'm taking the Z for a quotation at Weston Nissan tommorow, old guy says his insurance will take care of the costs if it's too expensive... and I'm figuring it will cause they need to flatten out the dent and respray the door...
Anyways, what's this I've read about a clear bra for the Z? Are they any good? Those damn rocks on the turnpike **** me off man.

Very Bad. I had a small fender bender with the front of my Z at Drifting Practice. I ruined the stock bumper, but I had a replica Nismo to put on right away. The only thing he had to do was prep and paint the bumper. It needed a little work I admit, some fiberglass needed to be applied and sanding was needed. I gave The guy the car for two weeks. I called him every few days to find the status of my car. After 2 weeks and 4 days he gives me the car. The bumper was supposed to be reinforced with more Fiberglass, never happened. The bumper had small bumps where it was sanded down too much. The right side had a depression about the size of a baseball. The driver's side door had a chip in it all the way down to the body panel just below the door handle (He claimed it wasn't him which was total BS). On top of that, the paint didn't match.

He took the car back and said he'd fix everything free of charge. After another two weeks of the car just sitting there, I got pissed took my keys from him and drove away. I never paid him the full price. You only get money for paint supplies when you do shoddy work. BTW my Godfather recommended him. My GF is the Sales Manager at South Motors BMW. He has never sent another car over there becuase of what happened.

talk to Walter at Doral Autobody and Collision. I had my nismo rep bumper prepped, painted, and installed there, and it came out perfect. Paint match was 100%. My dad has since had work done on his car, and that is perfect also. Just make sure to make an appointment before going in since the shop is usually pretty busy.
