Has anybody here had work done at Phantasm in Raleigh, NC? I know the owners and they told me a few 350s have been through there.

 

Somebody told me they did crap work but i really dont know personally.

 

I was gonna have them do a single turbo conversion on my old 94 rx-7 I used to have. But some of the local tuners out in Raleigh told me to stay away. And they are also very high priced. Just my 2 cents.

 

Yes I will say that I would stay away from them, I have heard alot of bad things and when I was going to do a Brembo brake swap on 2003 G35 with my 2005 G35 they quoted me like over a grand in labor saying it was going to be a long project and would take 2-3 days
I got all pissed off and did the work myself in the apartment parking lot with hand tools just to thumb my nose at them.
of course it did take me like 12 hours bymyself, hell they could have put both cars up on lift side by side and had one guy taking them off one car and swapping with a a guy working on another and they would have power tools

and another thing they had put the tires on her car and torqued the lugs down to some ungodly amount of force
I am aqbout 180 lbs and I was jumping up and down on the lug wrench trying to break those suckers.

if they can't even properly torque the lugs for her rims down then what the hell else can you trust them with

 

What kind of work are you looking to have done? You're avatar says Charlotte... are you in Raleigh for school? Or can you not find a place in the Queen City? (hard to believe)
