fayetteville, nc drag strip - sunday april 13th
to any of you guys in the area that might be interested...
me and a couple of buddies will be going down (as the title says) on sunday the 13th. weather permitting of course. this will be my first time ever at the strip, so no jokes when i stall.
we see this as a good way to celebrate taking the EIT/FE exam. all you engineers out there know what i'm talking about.
anyway...pm me if you want to. otherwise i hope to see some of you out there.

ahh...
perhaps you live in or near harrison grande apartments???
anyway, i have got to meet up with some of you guys sometime. i really only drive her on the weekends, and at those times i am usually looking for some empty country roads.
look forward to seeing you around though.
by the way...i think you had given me advice about going to auto illusions to get tinted. unfortunately, they are out of business. went to formula one instead. thanks for the input though.

Hgwy 98 in Garner and Purnell Road in Wake Forst is really fun and windy, and not alot of blue lights. near my house there is a great 1/4 mile strip where they are building a new housing development, great for testing your 1/4 mile runs
i agree with eric about purnell rd. nice little piece of driving there. just have to go aways to get there. otherwise, there are a few, very few, roads here and there down towards garner and fuquay-varina i run. have to watch out for those sheriffs though.
eric, where is this 1/4 mile strip which you are talking about? i have a really good accelerometer (the same one car & driver uses) and would like to go try it out.
thanks.
