Florida 350z crash
Hey guys, I am all the way up in cold a$$ MD enjoying a snow storm. Last night I happend to catch the National news segment; on my local news program. The main story was a dark purple 350z involved in a street race that killed one woman. They said the driver is being held on $10,000 bail does annyone know this person or happen to see this story? just curious, sounds like a really bad situation that will only get worse... a link would be much appreciated.
my regrets,
Ryan

my regret is not for the 350Z owner, but the woman and her family.

We would, if we knew what national news station he was referring to, and considering it's in MD, us Floridians don't really know what news stations they have up there.

This was close to my house:
Roger Yeager, 37, of Gibsonton, was driving a 2006 Nissan eastbound at about 11:20 a.m. on Gibsonton Drive.
William and Vertis Ryan of Riverview were in a Ford Taurus westbound on Gibsonton Drive.
William Ryan attempted to make a U-turn, which put the Taurus in the path of the Nissan.
The cars collided.
William Ryan, 85, was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition late Sunday. Vertis Ryan, 83, died at the scene.
Yeager was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide, reckless driving and racing on the highway.
Witnesses told investigators that a man driving a black Honda four-door car with shiny rims and tinted windows was racing against Yeager before the accident.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 873-8477.

Good I'm glad the a$$hole got caught for doing it. Hope he stays in prison for a long time. Of coarse you will see the pro streetracing people come in here and defend that when they do it its ok because they are safe about it or some crap like that.
All this self centered crap goes far beyond street racing and I was/am far from being a Saint, People that age --- 85-83 --- shouldnt have to pay the price for selfishness. My heart goes out to an old man that lost the most important thing in his life, fair condition or not, he will die within the year of a broken heart and that should add another Homicide by rights
