next week is gonna be interesting...............
Tony doesn't have much of a crew left anymore. He only has 1 captain left and a few thugs. everyone is turning on him, including Mr. Melfi.

I'm thinking about it, but the weather blows. If it clears, I was thinking about going to the hooters in Melbourne and watching the shuttle launch.

Hey whats up guys!!! Check out what Ive been doing for about 11 hours last night. Im telling you, the guys that dont get the BOSE system in their cars are lucky as hell. I have had to gut the car to run new wires, and dismantle my doors completely.
I replaced all but the rear 6 1/2 speakers and I still have the driver side door to fish for my new components to go. Ive run 12 guage twisted speaker wire to everything. Here are the pics of what 11 hours of progress looks like......

Here is a link to my install thread...

you didn;t have to run new wire though the factory grommet. You could have reused the factory wire. I worked in the car audio for many years, and there is little to no gain by changing out those wires.......... I'm sure it was a PITA!!!
the only time that going excessively large on speaker wire was necessary was on serious SPL (real competitors, like I was) vehicles, for the woofer when you were running multiple amps to a single woofer (for example, 8 amps to a quad coil 15
). when you are chasing tenths of a dB, everything helps.

Plus, I really want it sounding nice. 12 guage is the way to go.

......just for future reference, you wouldn't burn those wires if you were to bypass the bose amps and use the BOSE wires. mid/high amps are low current output, A/C voltage output on the speaker outs
