Guys, I am trying to setup a private Drag Day at Moroso. It would be on a Saturday from 9AM- 4PM...........

can I get a show of hands of who would be interested? price would be soemwhere in the range of $75-$100 per car. normal admission is $20, and you usully can't get more than 2 runs in because of all the cars. To be able to test and tune all day would be well wirth the extra monies. I was thinking of limiting this event to 50 cars maximum. I rather have about 30, but of course then the cost would be closer to $100 per car.

 

I would be very interested...just depending on the day... Like I said, I move on the 14th..

 

July 7th is availabel, but I am going to the bahamas for a week and won't return until the 5th......that doesn't give me much time to organize it.

 

Ehh I got my buddies bachelor party that day... It isnt looking good for me, I drop my car off Sunday, Get it Thursday, Party Friday, move the next Friday.

 

IIRC, they told me 7/7, 7/14, and 8/4 were available.

those are all saturday. a week day would be cheaper I think.

 

Yea a week day sounds alot better for me, maybe July 8th - July 13?? lol I really want to get a few passes in before I move!! I dont want to drive 2-3 hours to get to a strip!!

 

Hey QuadCam... Maybe we could do it July 7th, during the day, I guess the Ter-Tech guys are going to be out there from 9am-5pm. If we could get in then and make some passes that would be great!!!

 

it's gonna take some time to get it organized; I have a number of guys from the Florida G35 Club who are interested and willing to commit, but we are going to need at least 30 people to commit to it.

I am not putting up $3000 only to get stiffed with the tab...........I need to figure out how to organize this and make it available for people to reserve a spot.

 

thats understandable.... i can maybe get 3 other people myself... i guess just see what you can do with the g35 guys. maybe we can make a thread about it and see what we can do.

 

I gonna be out of the country for a week and unavailable via cell phone, too . When I get back, I'll get back on this project!!

It kinda Just happened. We went in thought to go to a carshow. But, we mixed it up with a show in Jerzy,lol (Hughie)

The Director of Moroso saw us all there and decided we were going to have a car show reguardless,lol.

There was go carsts racing going on, so most of us rented the track for about an hour. They provided the suits and helmets and the Cart. It was pretty cool.

 

Yea, I bet that was pretty fun. I've always wanted to do those go karts... They pretty quick?
