Default Rain Rain go away :(

Well in florida for the last 3 months the most rain we have gotten has ben the water from me washing my car. Well until today... What a downpour and (hopefully no more fires)

Well anyway my story,

I know my tires aren't that good(a whole other thread) So I being to drive home slippery. I understand all the oils and what not, so I take it really slow. O about 35mph for 30 plus miles. Sucked... So I take a break from sliding all over the road, and I decide to take a new back road to let the traffic go around me. Everything is going good, untill I get go over a hill. Now this is a brand new road for a newer community. Anywho You know when you go through a nice size puddle slows down the car etc.So I hit what I think is sitting water, until my car suddenly stops short and water pours over my hood. WTF!!! So I continue to get to higher ground(bs) next thing the same thing happens again... Now I am pissed. I smell smoke and I am starting to worry. I dont have a CAI just a short ram. I pulled over let the car idle for 10 mins. Stilling going. Then I got home let it idle some more. Tomorrow I will see how she does. Should I be worried or am I good?

Heres the kicker it snapped my Cwest CF lip in two Now thinking my exterior would be done. O well what now

Sorry for the long, pointless post. Just saying be careful and watch the 2ft puddles...

Pics tomorrow.

the smoke is probably just the water making contact with the hot surface.

If your car didn't die on you on the spot you should be ok?

Keep us updated.
