Default Pictures from the Emerald City Z Club Show

What a great day today at the Emerald City Z Club Show at Eastern Carolina Nissan in New Bern, North Carolina. Great weather (the rain held off until late today), great Z cars and great fellowship. Thanks to all who participated, especially those who came down from the Tidewater Z Club and the Richmond Z Cub.

Is this some kind of joke?

Other than that, nice cars.

No joke. That was an actual car at the show.

Hey I forgot to mention that we missed you guys and gals from the Triangle Z Club and the Cape Fear Z Club at the show. We usually have some of you in attendence. Didn't you know about our show this year?

My jaws fell when I saw these wheels too. Not good.

I knew the white Z was gonna be flamed when I saw the pics! Does look horrible, love the older 280Z.

I knew the PPW Z was going to generate some comments too when I posted the pictures. However, it was part of the show and different enough that I felt it was worth seeing whether you like the look or not. Personally I don't care for the wheels at all, but for the most part I like the rest of the car.

Here are a couple of shots of the interior of the car that I didn't post before.

the white Z33 is one of the most disgustingly ugly Z's I've seen. It has a veilside tag on it with no veilside parts on it not to mention the wheels lol.

I only see leather (cheap looking leather) seat covers and the crappy diamond floor mats. Fuggly!!!

Honestly, I think that no, a lot of people did not know about the show. I take partial blame for that since I've been pretty-much non-existent except for the track stuff lately, and I did my best to promote the show and swap-meet out of the immediate Greenville area... but Roger's got to learn too that at some point he's gonna have to reach out a little further than just his email list.

I remembered about the show when I was about half-way to Goldsboro and had passed a half-dozen Z's headed the other direction (I was headed to Raleigh). So I called Bain and Myra, and they both had completely forgotten about the show as well.

Truly sorry, cause it looked like a great time and absolutely gorgeous cars.

Sorry you missed the show Stacy. It was fun! Roger told me that he did email Myra about the show and sent her a flyer, but he didn't hear back from her or anyone from the Cape Fear Z Club. I don't know if he sent an email or a flyer to anyone at the Triangle Z Club other than those on his email lists. Some of us went to the Tidewater show on May 19 and carried flyers for our show. They also made an announcement about it too.

Just for everyone's information the Emerald City Z Club annual show is the first Saturday in June every year. We plan on continuing to have it that weekend weather permitting. If it is rained out the show will be the following weekend. The location may change year to year, but the date should not.
