hey guys i think im on to something here for us. i just had a meeting with modern nissan here in winston and they are interested in working with us on my350z.com and the triad Z club to put on meets and shows at their dealer among other oppurtunites for members.
i will let you know when i get all the details. but i think something more organized like this would be great for this local winston/ G boro /high point area

maybe we could do a country side drive and have them as a stopping point if they provided lunch. do this on a saturday, bring in business for them with all of our cars and gives us a free meal. win/win. i think michael jordans fed the z club when they had their car shows on the lot.
anyways im down as long as it is on a sat im off.

^ mark simmons? he is a buddy of mine up there real cool guy and easy to work with. 2 of my good friends are technicans up there too
but yeah i will let you know. ive got to meet with them somemore and contact the triad Z club. im thinking of having us my350z guys do something in association with the club for a bigger turnout. this would be official meets in addition to our get togethers
modern already said we could use the dealer as a meet place one a month. im just reaching out to the triadZ club to get them involved on here for more exposure

Last and only meet i went to 4 them was ummm not as fun as our Charlotte meets are

hey guys this tuesday im goin up to triad Z's monthly meeting to talk to them about the deal with modern nissan ive got going and to get more 350z's involved. can any of you guys make it to logans roadhouse in greensboro @ 7???
it would be a good way to meet and maybe talk about getting together our own meet for that UFC PPV i talked about on saturday

honestly ive never been to their meets. i was put in contact with them through modern so this is new for me too. i think they have many more older gen Z's thus trying to get us 350 guys more involved.
so yeah you guys come on out with with tuesday.
we are going to talk about organizing the first official meet up at modern and then i have a bigger plan for all of us to attend GT live at VIR in october

I can help with whatever you have in mind for VIR as well. The head of PR, Gina Drastal, is a very close family friend. Her husband Mark also drives pace car for member days and runs in SCCA Formula Ford. Group discount? VIP Parking? what ya got in mind?

last year greg (AZhitman) of NICO Club had nicofest there during the GT live event and gave me like 10-15 paddock passes for cars. i need to get with him on that and see if they are coming out this year. but yeah parking and a group rate would be great.
last year it was like 40 degrees and rainy so our turnout was pretty low. in the next 2 weeks im gonna start a thread about attendance. so yeah you can help me organize if you would

i will see what i can do. not sure I will be able to talk with Gina this weekend with AMA's up there. We will be at the track but its crazy when the bikes are in town. However next weekend I am running one of the member days and she heads up all of that.
not sure what she can do for pricing but i will find out as well. typically when a big race or club is at the track, that club sets the prices and so forth. Just depends but never hurts to ask

Maybe get them to set up some sort of hosipitality tent with some new cars and have an area for us to pull up and park as well. have a screen up with some racing/drifting videos playing, cater in some lunch. They would have to go through VIR for that but ya never know I suppose.
