Obviously, I'm coming into this thread late... but I want to say a couple things...

#1 - Respect your elders man... you'll be "old" soon enough

#2 - Us old guys can't "look" young again, so don't judge a book by it's cover. Same goes for the cars. Just cause a club's membership is older, doesn't mean it's any less of a good club to support. Some of us may be old, but we're young at heart... thats why we have a club where we can hang out and enjoy other enthusiasts company and their cars.

#3 - Don't be a 350Z elitist... there wouldn't be a 350Z if it wasn't for the 240Z, 260Z etc. Everyone I know who is a classic Z car owner/enthusiasts has welcomed 350Z drivers across the board, unless of course they are disrespectful or seem to give Z driver's a bad name.

#4 - Give your local club a chance... both the Triad and Triangle Z Clubs have been around for a long time. They've done a lot of the work... hell... it wouldn't be hard to join up, start volunteering, and give the club a younger spin!

I tried to start a dedicated Z32 club a few years back after I bought my '90... its very hard work... why not help out an already established club and make it better?

I know... I'm very excited about it... just wish I wasn't 3 hours away from everything

Normally people dont hate for what you have, they hate for how you act. I'm not talking about how you drive, but more what your attitude is outside of the car.

(packs up soapbox and gets out of the way to allow for the continued discussion in progress)
