Anyone from Raleigh listening out there? The gang here in Charlotte is spoiling for a drive. I thought it might be a good idea to pull our two groups together for an event.

sorry about being soooo slow to check my own thread.

I'm looking at the calendar and thinking the last weekend of this month (weekend before July 4th weekend). What does everyone think about that?

We can do this one of two ways... the Charlotte crowd is spoiling for a drive so we can

A - come up to RTP if you guys have a regular meeting place up there.

OR

B - meet somewhere in the Greensboro area if someone has a good meeting spot in mind. That way everyone gets to make a road trip.

I'll get on my email tomorrow night and touch base with those that have written me.

How bout other Charlotte area people?

 

I need someone who can "rally the Zs" in Raleigh to contact me by email Basically, I'm planning on organizing who I can in Charlotte and need someone to do the same in Raleigh.

No final destination has been selected yet, but the Charlotte group would like to make a drive. So we can either come all the way to Raleigh or meet half way.

in response to your email and this thread, i want to let you know that i do not know who you need to talk to about the raleigh groups. i have never been to a group meet event, so i have no idea who handles that kind of stuff up here. i think there is a triangle z car club, and i think they have members on here, so hopefully one of those guys will let you know.

Eric, I'm not interested in dyno time (should have mine done before then), but some of the other guys might.

Checking on local parks in RTP this week. The guys down here were thinking a day drive/cookout/drive home might be cool.

So is that the official meeting place? Are G35s allowed to attend the meet? I just saw this thread, and my internet is down at my apartment, but if so, I think I can round up a few G35s for the meet.

 

McDuck was trying to get a meet together for June 28th. The Triangle Z Club's picnic and informal show has been planned for June 21st for 6 months or more. We were hoping that the Charlotte guys would come up to Harris Lake park this Saturday instead of June 28th; the park is very nice, it's on the Charlotte side of Raleigh, and it seems silly to do it two weekends in a row and it makes sense to combine the two. Anyone interested is welcome.

 

you g35 guys are always welcome!

 

Andy's Charlotte\Raleigh meet is still on for June 28. He will send out additional details soon. Of course G35's are welcome.

We did not know about the Triangle Z Club meeting on June 21st. Thanks for the invite, but I don't think the Charlotte area guys can make it June 21.
