Where to begin?

I would like to try it out but I am not sure how/where to start. I live in the Tampa area.

 

Look into your local SCCA region/chapter.

 

I'm a member of Gulfcoast Autocrossers, in SW florida. (Ft Myers) Our next event will be 12/1 and 12/2. We have a great novice program that allows people that are new to the addiction...er... sport to get lots of seat time with and without instructors. I have only been to a few different venues, but I have been told by some of the national competitors that we have one of the top ten venues in the country. ( -Mile long course on a long, open runway)
