Yeah, 2:00 Saturday, February 23 (a week from tomorrow). Which Wal-Mart or K-Mart you talking about? I'm going to change the first post once we establish a meeting place. I'd imagine we'll definitely get some food after we drive a little while.

The Leeds exit that I am talking about is the Barbers Motorsports Park exit. I think the WalMart is one exit down. I am not 100% so let me find out.

We haven't set a definite meeting spot, but it looks like Nashville to Leeds is about 3 hours and 15 minutes...give or take a few based on where we decide to meet. Here's the Mapquest.

Nah, I will talk to him about that though. If he can't, perhaps I will run by the parent's house and borrow Dad's 20D. Two of our buddies are coming up from AU with us but one of them (who is also from B'ham) is going to be with his girlfriend while we are at the meet. Let's try to get a good turnout!

OK I am working with UofA to find a meeting spot before we go eat and cruise.... I will have some plans up before the end of the day.

I drove hwy 25 last Saturday and it is a blast.... so we will have a good time.

I am looking at a starting point at Hooters on HWY280. (on the lefthand side of the map right below the middle)

Hwy 231 has places that we can go flat out in.... no coppers and thin traffic so we can have some fun.

Hwy 43 and 55 - I do not know the condition of the roads but I know that 25 and 231 are recently repaved and very nice.


RED is the longest with a great spot to turn around where the arrows end and come back around. 280 to 119 to Elliott Ln to 25 to 231 and back through 55 to 280/Hooters.

BLUE 280 to 119 to Elliott Ln to 25 to 55 to 280

Orange 280 to 119 to Elliott Ln to 43 to 280

We will end back up at Hooters on 280 to eat :-)
