Default Alabama meet, February 23

New information:

We are meeting in Birmingham/Leeds and going to drive Highway 25 and some other surrounding roads. We are planning on meeting at 2:00, but the location is yet to be determined...We'll do some driving and then grab some food afterwards.

I would like to go, but Saturday the 23rd is the Atlanta Supercross and I have already committed to going. What time of day are you thinking? I could go Sunday if it's in B-ham, Ft Payne is a little far for me.

I'm not sure about a time...just trying to gauge interest. What time is the Atlanta Supercross, is it an all day thing?

I will leave Dothan at 7am Saturday and get back about 5am Sunday. We are meeting in Troy, Al and taking a chartered buss to the race. I'm sure I will sleep on the way home.

What does everyone think about meeting in Gadsden? I'd like to drive LMP again, but I'm flexible so I'm up for Birmingham or Gadsden.

If we do it in Birmingham my boss has a Aston Martin and his group of supercar guys drive this on the weekends.

Hwy 25 in Leeds (Barbers Exit) just got repaved. Take it to Hwy 231 Go right back to Hwy 280 then take Hwy 44 back to Hwy 25

13 Miles of this.

Good driving roads, huh? I think Birmingham would be more convenient since people are coming from as far North as Huntsville and as far South as Florida, and as far West as Mississippi.

I personally have not been out there but I will take his word on it.... there is no way in hell my AM would be on anything other than a nice road.

Cool, maybe we'll shoot for that then. Where do they usually meet? Maybe we can meet up, drive, grab some lunch, and drive some more?

There is a sonic right before we get on 25... it is the same sonic that we ate at for the Event at Barbers.

No worries. Just trying to pick what is most convenient for the greatest number of people. I'm not familiar with that area, so I'm not sure where a good place to meet would be. Maybe Frank can post up with a recommended meeting spot?

How does 2:00 sound?
